Arriving in Orlando
The Magic Kingdom
...but first, more cakes
Before we left for the airport, we felt we needed another visit to a New York Bakery so this time was a red velvet cheesecake.
Hang on!
The journey from New York to Orlando was on a much smaller plane than we had boarded to get to America and because of that was extremelly bumpy and not the most enjoyable plan ride.
Nevertheless, the cardboard-box-with-wings got us down to Florida for late afternoon.
The Disney resort
The Port Orleans resort was one that Rachael had always wanted to stay in but had previously been too expensive.
Being on our honeymoon though, we decided that it would be perfect for us and it more than delivered on our expectations!
The first view of the castle
After getting everything in, we took a quick trip to the Magic Kingdom for our first night and spent some time in front of Cinderella's castle and had a burger in Cosmic Ray's.
Rachael was absolutely in her element!
Rachael's memory
"I felt like a kid in a candy shop pulling Andi around everywhere - I couldn't wait to share all my favourite rides and experiences with him!"
Andi's memory
"The first time walking through the gates, down Main Street and being greeted by the castle was absolutely magical and the nighttime fireworks really cemented in my memory"
