Day 2 in Orlando

Hollywood Studios

Not as many photos today

We only spent one day at Hollywood Studios so we didn't take as many photos there - we spent more time trying to sqeeze all the rides in!

Star Wars

We headed to the newest area of the park: the Star Wars area.

The themeing was incredible and there was a lot to see!

A quick bite

We already had lunch plans so grabbed a quick bite to eat and decided on a Mickey pretzel.

Rise of the Resistance

We were expecting big things from this new ride and it certainly did not disappoint.

The sets were absolutely amazing, the cast were all so in character and there were so many surprises we weren't expecting!

Drive-in

For lunch, we went to a resturant that was themed as an old drive-in movie theatre showing old cringe-worthy sci-fi films.

Rock on!

Of course we had to do an obligitory "rock" pose on the Rock n' Roller Coaster which amused the other two people in our coaster car!

Later on we went for a second ride to see if we could make a more ridiculous pose. We could not.

Being Goofy

We got to meet Goofy while waiting for the Tower of Terror.

He congradulated us on getting married, said we looked like a beautiful couple and wished us a lifetime of happiness...we think. In reality, he just gestured that he loved us.

The Tower of Terror

Andi did not like the start of this ride, with a creepy aesthetic and a horror vibe with the constant worry that there were going to be jump scares.

Once past that point, it was a brilliant ride.

Showtime!

For the rest of the day, we enjoyed an ourdoor showing of Beauty and the Beast, rode a few more rides and then walked down Hollywood Boulevard at night.

Rae's memory

"An action-packed, hot day, I was pleased to bump into Goofy in the queue for Tower of Terror and I loved getting to ride the Rock n' Roller Coaster again!"

Andi's memory

"With the exception of experiencing squirty cheese for the first time, today was a blast - particularly the drivie-in diner"
